Our fundraising money goes directly to the purchase of new toys for your children to enjoy each year. These events are great fun for all the family and a great way to get to know other members.

Traffic School Day - Saturday 13 March, 2010

Kew Traffic School
cnr. Cotham and Grange Rds. Kew

We expect another terrific time for this event; a fantastic afternoon for the members, friends and family of the Toy Library. Children can bring their bike, trike, scooter, pram or anything with wheels to ride or push around the course. We also provide baked treats, drinks and BBQ sausages to feed all for an early dinner. So please put the date Saturday 14th March 3.30 - 6pm in your diary for a fun family event. See you there !

Past Events

In 2009 we had a beautiful sunny day at the Box Hill Train Day. It certainly bought everyone out including lots of members with their families and friends to enjoy a great family fun day.

The trains were running at a good pace for all the children to enjoy rides all morning long. Sarah, our face painter was kept extremely busy creating masterpieces such as lions, Ben 10 faces, butterflies and fairies! The committee did a superb job baking all the tasty treats, cooking the BBQ, setting up and making the day run smoothly for all. Money raised has gone to new toys, which are already in the toy library. They include lots of great new costumes, two more wooden balance bikes, another mini micro scooter, some Radio Flyer ride-ons, and some new games and puzzles. We raised over $1300 profit so it was a very successful day. Thank you to you all for coming along to support the event – we hope you all enjoyed it as much as our family did!
