Our fundraising money goes directly to the purchase of new toys for your children to enjoy each year. These events are great fun for all the family and a great way to get to know other members.

Morning Tea

Saturday 13 August
Come and meet some other members and our committee members over a cuppa in the toy library. We'd love to get to know you and also hear which toys your children enjoying using.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle

Grant for Active Play Toys

In late 2010 we were awarded a $2,444 grant by the Boroondara Council and Balwyn Rotary for a new range of active and sporting toys to help promote physical activity and outdoor play!

On Saturday, 19th March 2011 the Canterbury Area Toy Library Committee hosted a very enjoyable morning tea at the library. The occasion which marked the first social function of the year allowed members to participate in the official launch of the new range of active and sporting toys. Councillor Dick Menting from the Boroondara Council and Ken McQualter from Balwyn Rotary attended the event to assist in the launch of the new toys which have been purchased by Lisa Somerville, our new toy library buyer.
