Celebrate Children's Week at Canterbury Toy Library


UPDATE: Tickets for this event has now sold out, keep an eye on our newsletter and website for future events Come along for a fun family morning at Canterbury Toy Library! Bring along your favourite cuddly toy to share the experience with you.


There will be a toy hospital to give your favourite cuddly toy a check up, fun outdoor games and activities and a quiet book corner and story time for when you're all ready for a rest.

Afterwards you will be in the ideal location to go for a short walk to picnic in Canterbury Gardens or enjoy lunch at one of the many cafes along historic Maling road.

Children’s Week celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood. This year’s theme is ‘All Children have the right to a standard of living that supports their wellbeing and healthy development’ and is based on Article 27 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

This Children’s Week activity is presented by Canterbury Area Toy Library Inc. in partnership with the Victorian Government.

Activities will include:

- drawing

- giant jenga

- ladder ball

- giant bubble blowing

- toy hospital

- story corner

Tickets are free but essential to ensure we have enough space for everyone to have fun on the day.

Please note children must be supervised at all times by parents/guardians, this is not a drop off event.
